The GITANK-300A is a Bluetooth Music Streaming Adapter that is integrated with an AMI/MDI cable. It is recommended for use with the following systems: 2009-2020 Audi MMI 3G, 3G+, 2009-2020 Audi Concert/Symphony, 2005-2011 Mercedes-Benz with media music interface, and 2009-2020 Volkswagen RNS 510, Volkswagen 3G for RNS 315, and Volkswagen Premium 8 system.

The adapter is not compatible with the 2006-2009 Audi MMI 2G system, and users with that system should instead order the GITANK-Audi2G, which is specially designed for the Audi MMI 2G system. The GITANK-300A is also not compatible with the Audi Navigation Plus with AMI music interface or the 2012-2020 Mercedes-Benz.

It is important to note that the GITANK-300A does not support the display of Spotify/Pandora playlists, and only supports the display of Apple Music/iTunes playlists. Additionally, the adapter only supports Bluetooth music streaming and not phone functionality. If your car has Bluetooth phone capabilities, the GITANK Bluetooth audio streaming can work alongside the car's Bluetooth phone.

In General mode, the adapter supports the display of Spotify/Pandora's currently playing song information on the car screen, such as the song name and album name. However, Audi car owners need to turn on the song information display option in the car settings screen.
